The site gets assessed and measured, the old surface comes out, the grade gets corrected to move water away from the building, and the soil is prepared so roots have somewhere to go. Sod is ordered fresh and installed the same day it arrives wherever scheduling allows. Rolls are butted tight with staggered seams, edges are cut clean against beds and hardscape, and the whole surface is rolled to press the roots into contact with the soil beneath.
